Interaction between supervisory, early intervention measures and resolution authorities’ assessment
In addition to the supervisory measures, competent authorities may apply early intervention measures as specified in Article 27 of Directive 2014/59/EU, which are intended to supplement the set of supervisory measures specified in Articles 104 and 105 of Directive 2013/36/EU.
Competent authorities should apply early intervention measures without prejudice to any other supervisory measures and, when applying early intervention measures, should choose the most appropriate measure(s) to ensure a response that is proportionate to the particular circumstances.
When setting supervisory or early intervention measures, competent authorities should, in addition to considering the escalation framework set out in Title 2, also take into account the results of the resolvability assessment conducted by the resolution authority, including the related work programme, with a view to ensuring consistency in supervisory actions.
